John Trendowski, P.E., LEED AP, a principal engineer at C&S Companies, was elected to be the co-chair of the Air Quality Working Group of ACI-NA Environmental Steering Group at the recent Airports@Work Conference in Las Vegas. The Environmental Steering Group works on a broad range of committee matters to address policy development, implementation and advocacy; conference program planning; as well as the development of ACI-NA–wide environmental goals and policies. Trendowski is a national leader in the field of airport air quality and specializes in emission mitigation projects and funding sources such as the Voluntary Airport Low Emission (VALE) Program. He has managed air quality projects for Portland International, San Diego International, Detroit Metro, Salt Lake City International, Seattle-Tacoma International, and many other airports across the country.
