Jerel Bogdan, P.E., joined the C&S Companies’ Buffalo office as a senior project engineer. He has more than 16 years of engineering and project management in civil/environment engineering, serving a wide variety of different client sectors including oil and gas, pharmaceutical, municipal, general industrial, food, chemical, and alternative energy entities. His specialties include water and wastewater conveyance and treatment facilities, regulatory compliance management, residual and hazardous waste management, engineering and compliance for oil and gas development, alternative energy and energy efficiency, and environmental remediation and brownfields. In Western New York, he has been involved in a number of notable projects, including major environmental assignments for the Buffalo Sewer Authority, Town of Towanda, City of Erie, NYS Department of General Services, and the Union Ship Canal – Buffalo Lakeside Commerce Park restoration.
He most recently was the vice president of engineering for Eureka Resources, LLC, which specialized in design-build-operation of centralized wastewater treatment plants serving nonconventional shale oil and gas development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and a master’s degree in civil/environmental engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a licensed professional engineer in New York and Pennsylvania.
